摘要 Evaluationofregionaltourismcompetitivenesshasbeenahotissueoftourismgeographyandregionaleconomicsinrecentyears.ThisstudyintroducessystemtheoryandProfessorPorter'sNationalDiamondModelintoconstructingtheevaluationindexsystemofregionaltourismcompetitiveness,whichincludesfourdecisivefactors,namelyproductionfactor,market,industryandsupportcompetitiveness.AndbycomprehensiveuseofsubjectiveandobjectivemethodslikePrincipalComponentAnalysis(PCA)andAnalysisHierarchyProcess(AHP)theappraisedvalueswerecalculated.Atthesametime,themethodwasappliedtodynamicdemonstrationanalysisofthetourismcompetitivenessoftheprovincesinSouthwestChinafrom2001to2005.Theresultshowsthattheirtourismcomprehensivecompetitivenesshasdistinctdifferences.ThecomprehensivecompetitivenessofSichuanandYunnanarebetter,ChongqingandGuangxiareinthemiddle,andGuizhouandTibetareweak.Accordingtothecompetitivenessranksin2001-2005,comprehensive,productionfactor,industryandsupportcompetitivenesschangedalittleandmarketcompetitivenesschangedalot.Thiscompetitivepatternhasbeenmademostlybecausenaturalresourceconditionsandeconomicdevelopmentlevelsoftheprovincesareverydifferentandaredifficulttobechangedinashortperiod.
