摘要
Thethree-dimensionalNavier-Stokesequationsweresolvedwiththefractionalstepmethodwherethehydrostaticpressurecomponentwasdeterminedfirst,whilethenon-hydrostaticcomponentofthepressurewascomputedfromthepressurePoissonequationinwhichthecoefficientmatrixispositivedefiniteandsymmetric.Theeddyviscositywascalculatedfromtheefficientk-εturbulencemodel.TheresultingmodeliscomputationallyefficientandunrestrictedtotheCFLcondition.Computationswithandwithouthydrostaticapproximationwerecomparedforthesamecasestotestthevalidityoftheconventionalhydrostaticpressureassumption.Themodelwasverifiedagainstanalyticalsolutionsandexperimentaldata,withexcellentagreement.
