摘要
Multiplemyeloma(MM)isamalignancyoftheplasmacellcharacterizedbymigrationandlocalizationtothebonemarrowwherecellsthendisseminateandfacilitatetheformationofbonelesions.Itisassociatedwithaconstellationofdiseasemanifestations,apartfromosteolyticlesions,anemiaandimmuno-suppressionduetolossofnormalhematopoieticstemcellfunction,andcardiacamyloidosisduetomonoclonalimmunoglobulinsecretionaswell[1].Amyloidinfiltrationoftheheartmayfrequentlymasqueradeashypertrophiccardiomyopathy(HCM).HCM,ofwhichunderlyingcauseandpathogenesisarelargelyunknown,ischaracterizedbyleftand/orrightventricularhypertrophy,withpredominantinvolvementoftheinterventricularseptumintheabsenceofothercausesofhypertrophy,suchashypertensionorvalvularheartdiseases[2].Whileexcessivehypertrophyofthemyocardiumismostcommonlyassociatedwithmyocytehypertrophy,infiltrationwithamyloidalwaysneedstobeconsidered.Inthisreportwepresentedtwocasesofmultiplemyelomathatmimickedhypertrophiccardiomyopathysocloselythatitrequiredbonemarroworendomyocardialbiopsytoestablishthediagnosis.
