A study of urban traffic based on the temporal maps: the case of Guangzhou City

摘要 Temporalmapisanisochronalmaptakingtimeasameasuringunit.Ittracesouttheisochronesaccordingtothediscrepancyofthetimedistancebetweenthedifferentsitesfromtheoutsideofthecityandthedowntown.Itcanbeclearandintuitionaltoshowthedifferenttemporalrelationshipsbetweentheoutsideofthecityandthecitycentrewiththetemporalmap.Theproblemoftrafficcongestion,withitspotentialforurbanchaos,hasincreaseddramaticallywithagrowingnumberofvehiclesandthecontinuingaerialexpansionofGuangzhou.Bothtransitrid-ersanddriversfinditisagreatdifficultytotrytoacquirethenecessaryinformationfromurbanspatialmovements.Valuabletimeislostduetotheabsenceofgoodtransportationinformation.So,thepaperanalyzesacaseinGuang-zhoucommunicationwithGeographicInformationSystem(GIS),andusesthemostpopularvehicles,includingbusesandtaxisthatareusedtomeasurethetemporaldistanceinthecity,andthenproposesthedesignofanewmapthatbetterre?ectsthestatusofurbancommunication,andattemptstochangetherelationshipbetweenonepointandanotherpointoftravel,reducingtheamountoftimeallocatedtosuch,oftencomplex,movements.ThispaperalsopointsouttheobstaclesassociatedwithGuangzhou'sexistingtrafficcongestion,andputsforwardastrategyaimedatbetterdefiningtheneedoflinkingthetemporalmaptospatialmapofGuangzhou.
