Isotope effect in collision between helium atom and hydrogen bromide molecule

摘要 Theanisotropicpotentialdevelopedinourpreviousresearchandtheclose-couplingmethodareappliedtotheHBr-3He(4He,5He,6He,7He)system,andthepartialcrosssections(PCSs)attheincidentenergyof60meVarecalculated.Basedonthecalculations,theinfluencesoftheisotopeheliumatomonPCSsarediscussedindetail.TheresultsshowthattheexcitationPCSsconvergefasterthantheelasticPCSsforthecollisionenergyandthesystemsconsideredhere.AlsotheexcitationPCSsconvergemorerapidlyforthehigh-excitedstates.Thetaileffectispresentonlyinelasticscatteringandlow-excitedstatesbutnotinhigh-excitedstates.Withtheincreaseofreducedmassofthecollisionsystem,theconvergingspeedoftheelasticandexcitationPCSsslowsdown,andthetaileffectgoesup.
