IMPROVING THE FREQUENCY RESOLUTION OF DIGITALLY SYNTHESIZED PERIODIC SIGNALS BY A SEQUENTIAL ADDRESSING SCHEME

摘要 InthedigitalsynthesisofwidebandperiodicsignalsusinganArbitraryWaveformGen-erator(AWG),thefrequencyresolutionandspectralcomplexityofthesynthesizedsignalsarecom-monlylimitedbythememorycapacityandclockfrequencyoftheAWG.Thispaperproposesanovelsequentialaddressingschemeandthenpresentsseveralsequencestoimprovethefrequencyresolutionofthesynthesizedperiodicsignalswithoutchangingtheirspectralenvelopesandbasictime-domaincharacteristicsundertheconditionofafixedmemorycapacityandafixedclockfre-quency.ThemainideaoftheschemeisusingtheaddressgeneratorinanAWGtoprogramandproduceaddressestoreadfixedwaveformdatainvariableorder,andthustogeneratewaveformsofvariousperiodsandprofiles.Theschemeisappliedinsimulatingsignalscenariosformilitarycom-municationcountermeasureexperiments,andachieveshighperformance.
