摘要
Undertheframeworkofsupportvectormachines,thispaperproposesanewkernelmethodbasedonneighborbandsmutualinformationforhyperspectraldatumclassification.Thisalgorithmassignsweightstodifferentbandsinthekernelfunctionaccordingtotheamountofusefulinformationthattheycontain,whichmakesthebandwithmoreusefulinforma-tionplaymoreimportantroleintheclassification.Ourresearchhasshownthatthebandwithgreatermutualinformationbetweenneighborbandscontainsmoreusefulinformation,andhenceweusethemutualinformationofeachbandanditsneighborbandsastheweightsoftheproposedkernelmethod.Theexperimentalresultsshowthatforthesupportvectormachinesbasedonpolynomialandradialbasisfunction,afterintroducingtheproposedkernelfunction,theaverageaccuracyisincreasedmorethan1.2%withoutusinganyreferencemaporincreasingmuchmorecomputationaltime.
