摘要
Movingtargetdetection(MTD)techniqueisdesignedtofilteringouttheclutters.ThebasisoftheMTDdigitalsignalprocessorisabankofDopplerfiltersdesignedusingFFTalgorithm.Forhighpulserepetitionfrequency(HPRF),itleadstoalongtimecalculationsandgreatcomplexityinhardwareimplementation.FrequencydomaindetectorisrepresentedbyWelchmethodRealizedDopplerfiltersbankwhichwillreducethetimecalculation.Theproposedmethodenhancesthetargetdetectioncapabilitiesbyprovidinghigherdetectionprobabilitiesorlowerfalsealarmrates.Theperformanceofthetwosystems,thetraditionalMTD-IandWelchmethodarecomparedfromtheviewpointofprobabilityofdetection(Pd),probabilityoffalsealarm(Pfa).Computersimulationresultsarepresentedtosupportthesuperiorityoftheproposedtechnique.
