Effects of Measuring Positions on the Measured Aerodynamic Performance of a Centrifugal Compressor

摘要 Thispaperperformsanumericalsimulationofthree-dimensionalflowfieldinacentrifugalcompressorwithlonginletandoutletpipesusingCFXsoftware.Byarrangingvirtualprobesatdifferentpositionsinbothinletandoutletplanes,theaerodynamicperformanceofthecentrifugalcompressorismeasuredandcomparedwitheachother.Theneffectsofmeasuringpositionsonmeasurementresultsarediscussed.Theresultsshowthatitwillgeneratenotablemeasuringerrorsofthepressureratioandefficiencyiftheinlettotalpressureismeasuredusingasingle-pointprobe.Theinlettotalpressuredatacanbeaccuratewhentheyaremeasuredusinga3-pointrake.Theoutlettotalpressureandtotaltemperaturedatacannotbeaccurateiftheyarerespectivelymeasuredatonecircumferentialpositionevenusingamulti-pointrake.Increasingtangentialmeasuringpositionsattheoutletiseffectivetoimprovethetestaccuracy.Whentheoutlettotalpressureandtotaltemperaturearerespectivelymeasuredat3tangentialpositions,thedatacanbealmostaccurate.
