Factors Affecting Small Axial Cooling Fan Performance

摘要 Manyfactorssuchasouterdiameter,hubratio,bladenumbers,shapeandstaggerangleaffecttheperformanceofsmallcoolingfans.AsmallcoolingfanwassimulatedusingCFDsoftwareforthreebladestaggerangles(30.5°,37.5°,44.5°)andobtainedtheinternalflowfieldandthestaticcharacteristics.Researchindicatedthatthestaggeranglehasanobviouseffectonthestaticcharacteristicsofafan.Forflowratesbelow0.0104m3/s,totalpressureisthegreatestwhenthestaggerangleis37.5°;flowrateshigherthan0.0104m3/s,thetotalpressureisgreatestwhenthestaggerangleis44.5°Forthesameflowrates,thevelocityatinletofpressuresurfaceincreaseswithincreasingstaggerangle,butthechangeofvelocityonthesuctionsurfaceisverysmall.Foronemodel,vorticesandthespeedofrevolutionsurfacesdecreasewithtipclearanceincreasing.Butforotherthreemodels,increasingthestaggerangle,thevortexintensityandspeedofrevolutionsurfacesatsameheighttipclearanceincreases,simultaneously,thepositionofvortexoffsetfromthetopoftherotorbladetothesuctionsurface.
