摘要
Inordertoresearchthestrengtheningeffectsofaramidfiberreinforcedpolymer(AFRP)sheetsontheflexuralperformanceofcorrodedreinforcedconcrete(RC)beams,thestaticandfatigueperformanceofcorrodedRCbeamsstrengthenedwithnon-prestressedAFRPsheetsunderdifferentdegreesofcorrosion(minor:reinforcementmasslossis2.0%,medium:reinforcementmasslossis6.0%)havebeenresearchedexperimentallyinthispaper,tocomparewiththatofthecontrolbeams(un-strengthenedandun-corroded)andun-strengthenedcorrodedbeams,andadditionallycomparewithfatigueperformanceofthosemediumcorrodedRCbeamsstrengthenedwithprestressedAFRPsheetswithpermanentanchors.Theresultsshowthat,(1)comparedwithun-strengthenedcorrodedbeamsunderthesamedegreesofcorrosion,thecracking,yieldandultimatemonotonicloadsoftheminorcorrodedRCbeamstrengthenedwithnon-prestressedAFRPsheetsisrespectivelyincreasedby20%,27%and60%,whereasforthemediumcorrodedRCbeamstrengthenedwithnon-prestressedAFRPsheetsincreasedby15%,36%and83%respectively.Theultimatedeflectionofthemediumcorrodedbeamstrengthenedwithnon-prestressedAFRPsheetsis166%largerthanthatofthecorrodedun-strengthenedbeamunderthemonotonicload.(2)Thefatiguelifeofthenon-prestressedAFRPstrengthenedmediumcorrodedbeamis10.4timesmorethanthatoftheun-strengthenedcorrodedbeam,butlowerthanthatoftheunstrengthened-uncorroded(virgin)beam.(3)FatigueexperimentsofthebeamsstrengthenedwithprestressedAFRPsheetsandwiththosenon-prestressedAFRPsheetsshowthatthefatiguelifeoftheretrofitRCbeamsincreasewithincreasingprestresslevelofAFRPsheets.(4)TheuseofAFRPsheetsforstrengtheningcorrodedRCbeamsisanefficienttechniquethatcanmaintainthestructuralintegrityandenhancethestructuralbehaviorofsuchbeams.
