简介:Thesecond-harmonicgeneration(SHG)circulardichroisminthelightofreflectionfromchiralfilmsoftripod-likechiralmoleculesisinvestigated.Theexpressionsofthesecond-harmonicgenerationcirculardichroismarederivedfromourpresentedthree-coupled-oscillatormodelforthetripod-likechiralmolecules.SpectraldependenceofthecirculardichroismofSHGfromfilmsurfacecomposedoftripod-likechiralmoleculesissimulatednumericallyandanalysed.Influenceofchiralparametersonthesecond-harmonicgenerationcirculardichroismspectruminchiralfilmsisstudied.Theresultshowsthatthesecond-harmonicgenerationcirculardichroismisasensitivemethodofdetectingchiralitycomparedwiththeordinarycirculardichroisminlinearoptics.Allofourworkindicatesthattheclassicalmolecularmodelsareveryeffectivetoexplainthesecond-harmonicgenerationcirculardichroismofchiralmolecularsystem.Theclassicalmolecularmodeltheorycangiveusaclearphysicalpictureandbringsusveryinstructiveinformationaboutthelinkbetweenthemolecularconfigurationandthenonlinearprocesses.
