简介:ThemonolayerdispersionofcopperoxideonthesurfaceofanataseanditseffectonthepropertieshavebeenstudiedbyX-rayphotoelectronspectroscopy(XPS)andX-rayextendedabsorptionfinestructure(EXAFS).XPSresultsgiveanutmostdispersioncapacityof7.2mg/gTiO2.StronginteractionsbetweencopperoxideandanatasecanbeseenfromEXAFSresults.ThestructureofthesupportedCuOspeciesisstronglydependentontheamountofCuOloading.WhenthecontentofCuOloadingisbelowtheutmostdispersioncapacity,thesurfaceofCuO/TiO2isdominatedbythehighlydispersedCuOspecieshavingno-Cu-O-Cu-chains,Thecopperionislocatedinanoctahedralcoordinationenvironment,andtheCu-O-coordinationdistanceismuchlongerthanthatinpurecrystallineCuO,whenCuOloadingisexceedstheutmostdispersioncapacity,crystallineCuOisformedonthesurfaceofCuO/TiO2,Fromtheresultofthesturcturestudy,itisCu-OoctahedralCoordinationandcoordinationdistancechangeincomparationwithpurecrystallineCuoonthesurfaceCuO/TiO2thathavecatalyticactivity.
