简介:Theproblemsofasolitarywavepassingoverrectangularcylindershavebeenanalysed.Thenumericalsimulationisbasedonthefullnonlineartwo-dimensionalNavier-Stokesequationswhicharesolvedbythefinitedifferencemethod.ThefreesurfaceisdealtwithbytheVolumeofFluidmethod(VOF).ResultsforasolitarywavepassingoverasinglecylinderarecomparedwiththeexperimentaldataofSeabra-Santos,PenouardandTempervilleandbetteragreementisobtainedthanthoseobtainedfromthelongwaveequationbasedonthepotentialflowtheory.Resultsarealsogivenfortwocylinderswithdifferentgaps.
简介:Thispaperinvestigatestheeffectsofstructureparametersondynamicresponsesofsubmergedfloatingtunnel(SFT)underhydrodynamicloads.Thestructureparametersincludesbuoyancy-weightratio(BWR),stiffnesscoefficientsofthecablesystems,tunnelnetbuoyancyandtunnellength.First,theimportanceofstructuraldampinrelationtothedynamicresponsesofSFTisdemonstratedandthemechanismofstructuraldampeffectisdiscussed.Thereafter,thefundamentalstructureparametersareinvestigatedthroughtheanalysisofSFTdynamicresponsesunderhydrodynamicloads.TheresultsindicatethattheBWRofSFTisakeystructureparameter.WhenBWRis1.2,thereisaremarkabletrendchangeintheverticaldynamicresponseofSFTunderhydrodynamicloads.TheresultsalsoindicatethattheratioofthetunnelnetbuoyancytothecablestiffnesscoefficientisnotacharacteristicfactoraffectingthedynamicresponsesofSFTunderhydrodynamicloads.
