简介:Shapememoryalloy(SMA)reinforcedsmartstructurecanbeusedtomakestructuralshapeandstrengthselfadaptedandstructuraldamageself-restrained.AlthoughSMAsmartstructureswithoutdamageswereextensivelystudied,researchesonSMAsmartstructureswithdamageshaverarelybeenreportedthusfar.Inthispaper,thermo-mechanicalbehaviorsofSMAfiberreinforcedsmartstructureswithdamagesareanalyzedthroughashearlagmodelandthevariationalprinciple.Mathematicalexpressionsofthemeso-displacementfieldandthestress-strainfieldofatypicalelementwithdamagesareobtained,andafailurecriterionforinterfacefailurebetweenSMAfibersandmatrixisestablished,whichisappliedtoanexample.ResultspresentedhereinmayprovideatheoreticalfoundationforfurtherstudiesonintegrityofSMAsmartstructures.
