简介:ThispaperfirstcalculatesnumericallytheSymmetricInformationRate(SIR)ofCotinuousPhaseModulation(CPM)schemesoverAdditiveWhiteGaussianNoise(AWGN)channel,modelingCPMandchannelasaMemory-lessModulator(MM)plusaMarkovFiniteStateChannel(FSMC),thenproposesanoptimaldetector,whichisofBCJRbasedDecisionFeedbackDetector(DFD)butnon-iterative.ItcanachievetheSIRasthesequencelengthapproachesinfinitywhilethecomplexityisextremelylow.Finally,boththeoreticproofandnumericalsimulationareperformedtoshowtheop-timality.SimulationresultsshowthatitnearlyachievesthetheoreticboundandoutperformstheViterbiDetector(VD)with2dBinlowEb/N0.
