简介:TherearelargevolumesofthePhanerozoicgranitoidrocksinChinaandneighboringareas.Inrecentyears,numerousnewandpreciseU-Pbzirconageshavebeenpublishedforthesegranitoids,anddefinemanyimportantmagmaticevents,suchasca.500MagranitoideventsintheWestJunggar,AltaiorogensintheNWChina,andQinlingorogeninthecentralChina.TheseagesaccuratelyconstrainthetimeofimportantearlyPaleozoic,latePaleozoic,earlyMesozoicandlateMesozoicmagmaticeventsofthenorthern,central,western,southernandeasternorogenicMountainsinChina.ThereoccurvarioustypesofgranitoidsinChina,suchastalc-alkalinegranite,alkaligranite,highly-fractionatedgranite,leucogranite,adakite,andrapakivigranite.RapakivigranitesarenotonlytypicalProterozoicasintheNorthChinaCraton,butwerealsoemplacedduringPaleozoicandMesozoicintheKunlun-Qinlingorogen,apartoftheChinaCentralOrogenicBelt(CCOB).Nd-HfisotopictracingandmappingshowthatgranitoidsinthesouthernCentralAsianOrogenicBelt(CAOB)inChina(ortheNorthernChinaOrogenicBelt)arecharacterizedpredominantlybyjuvenilesources.Thejuvenilecrustinthisorogenicdomainaccountsforover50%byarea,distinguishingitfromotherorogenicbeltsintheworld,andthoseincentral(e.g.,Qinling),southwestemandeasternChina.Basedonalargeamountofnewagedata,apreliminarygranitoidandgranitoid-tectonicmapsofChinahavebeenpreliminarilycompiled,andanevolutionaryframeworkofPhanerozoicgranitoidsinChinaandneighboringareashasbeenestablishedfromtheviewofassemblyandbreakupofcontinentalblocks.Researchideasongranitoidtectonicshasalsobeenproposedanddiscussed.
