简介:ThemonolayerdispersionofcopperoxideonthesurfaceofanataseanditseffectonthepropertieshavebeenstudiedbyX-rayphotoelectronspectroscopy(XPS)andX-rayextendedabsorptionfinestructure(EXAFS).XPSresultsgiveanutmostdispersioncapacityof7.2mg/gTiO2.StronginteractionsbetweencopperoxideandanatasecanbeseenfromEXAFSresults.ThestructureofthesupportedCuOspeciesisstronglydependentontheamountofCuOloading.WhenthecontentofCuOloadingisbelowtheutmostdispersioncapacity,thesurfaceofCuO/TiO2isdominatedbythehighlydispersedCuOspecieshavingno-Cu-O-Cu-chains,Thecopperionislocatedinanoctahedralcoordinationenvironment,andtheCu-O-coordinationdistanceismuchlongerthanthatinpurecrystallineCuO,whenCuOloadingisexceedstheutmostdispersioncapacity,crystallineCuOisformedonthesurfaceofCuO/TiO2,Fromtheresultofthesturcturestudy,itisCu-OoctahedralCoordinationandcoordinationdistancechangeincomparationwithpurecrystallineCuoonthesurfaceCuO/TiO2thathavecatalyticactivity.
简介:Probingtheopticalpropertiesofmolybdenumdisulfide(MoS2)isvitaltoitsapplicationinplasmon-enhancedspectroscopy,catalysts,sensing,andoptoelectronicdevices.Inthispaper,wetheoreticallystudiedtheRamanandfluorescencepropertiesofmonolayerMoS2usingtip-enhancedspectroscopy(TES).Inthestrong-couplingTESsystem,theRamanandfluorescenceenhancementfactorscanbeturnedtoashighas4.5×108and3.3×103,respectively,byoptimizingthetip–MoS2-filmdistance.OurtheoreticalresultsnotonlyhelptodeeplyunderstandtheTESpropertiesofmonolayerMoS2,butalsoprovidebetterguidanceontheapplicationsofthenoveltwo-dimensionalmaterial.
简介:Ingraphene,conductanceelectronsbehaveasmasslessrelativisticparticlesandobeyananalogueoftheDiracequationintwodimensionswithachiralnature.Forthisreason,theboundingofelectronsingrapheneintheformofgeometriesofquantumdotsisimpossible.Ingaplessgraphene,duetoitsuniqueelectronicbandstructure,thereisaminimalconductivityatDiracpoints,thatis,inthelimitofzerodoping.Thiscreatesaproblemforusingsuchahighlymotivatednewmaterialinelectronicdevices.Oneofthewaystoovercomethisproblemisthecreationofabandgapinthegraphenebandstructure,whichismadebyinversionsymmetrybreaking(symmetryofsublattices).WeinvestigatetheconfinedstatesofthemasslessDiracfermionsinanimpuredgraphenebytheshort-rangeperturbationsfor"localchemicalpotential"and"localgap".Thecalculatedenergyspectrumexhibitsquitedifferentfeatureswithandwithouttheperturbations.Acharacteristicequationforboundstates(BSs)hasbeenobtained.Itissurprisinglyfoundthattherelationbetweentheradialfunctionsofsublatticeswavefunctions,i.e.,f_m~+(r),g_m~+(r),andf_m~-(r),g_m~-(r),canbeestablishedbySO(2)group.

简介:Entangledphotonsarethefundamentalresourceinquantuminformationprocessing.Howtoproducethemefficientlyhasalwaysbeenamatterofconcern.HereweproposeanewwaytoproducecorrelatedphotonsefficientlyfrommonolayerWS2basedonboundstatesinthecontinuum(BICs).TheBICsofradiationmodesinthemonolayerWS2arerealizedbydesigningthephotoniccrystalslab-WS2-slabstructure.Thegenerationefficiencyofcorrelatedphotonpairsfromsuchastructurehasbeenstudiedbyusingarigorousquantummodelofspontaneousparametricdown-conversionwiththeplanewaveexpansionmethod.ItisfoundthatthegenerationefficiencyofcorrelatedphotonpairsisgreatlyimprovedifthesignalandidlerfieldsarelocatedattheBICsdeterminedbytheinversescatteringmatrixofthestructure.Thisisincontrasttotheparametricdown-conversionprocessfortheenhancedgenerationofnonlinearwavesifthepumpfieldislocatedattheBICsdeterminedbythescatteringmatrixofthestructure.Thegenerationrateofthecorrelatedphotonpairscanbeimprovedby7ordersofmagnitudeinsomedesignedstructures.Thegeneratedquantumsignalsaresensitivetothewavelengthandexhibitnarrowedrelativelinewidth,whichisverybeneficialforquantuminformationprocessing.
简介:Aself-assembledmonolayerfilm(SAM)ofrutheniumphthalocyanine(RuPc)fabricatedonasilversubstratepremodifiedwithanSAMofterephthalonitrile(TPN)wasstudiedbymeansofsurface-enhancedRamanscattering(SERS)andultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)spectroscopies.TPNwasusedasaligandtolinkRuPcsinceitcannotonlymodifythesilversubstratebutalsodeliverthenitrilegroupsprotrudingfromthesilversurface.Therefore,wecanexploretherelationshipbetweenthestructureandtheorientationofRuPcandtheTPN-modifiedsubstrate.TheUV-VisspectraindicateastronginteractionbetweenRuPcandTPNinthecompositefilm.TheresultisfurtherconfirmedbytheSERSspectraofRuPc-TPNSAM,inwhichthevibrationalbandsarisingfromboththeRuPcandTPNmoietiesappearclearly,indicatingthattheRuPcissuccessfullyassembledontheTPNfilm.
简介:Thefundamentalmomentumconservationrequirementq~0fortheRamanprocessisrelaxedinthenanocrystallites(NCs),andphononsawayfromtheBrillouin-zonecenterwillbeinvolvedintheRamanscattering,whichiswell-knownasthephononconfinementeffectinNCs.ThisusuallygivesadownshiftandasymmetricbroadeningoftheRamanpeakinvariousNCs.Recently,theA'_1modeof1LMoS2NCsisfoundtoexhibitablueshiftandasymmetricbroadeningtowardthehigh-frequencyside[Chem.Soc.Rev.44(2015)2757andPhys.Rev.B91(2015)195411].Inthiswork,wecarefullycheckthisissuebystudyingRamanspectraof1LMoS2NCspreparedbytheionimplantationtechniqueinawiderangeofion-implanteddosage.ThesameconfinementcoefficientisusedforbothE'andA'_1modesin1LMoS_2NCssincethephononuncertaintyinanNCismainlydeterminedbyitsdomainsize.TheasymmetricalbroadeningneartheA′_1andE′modesisattributedtotheappearanceofdefect-activatedphononsatthezoneedgeandtheintrinsicasymmetricalbroadeningofthetwomodes,wheretheanisotropyofphonondispersioncurvesalongΓ-KandΓ-Misalsoconsidered.Thephotoluminescencespectraconfirmtheformationofsmalldomainsizeof1LMoS_2nanocrystallitesintheion-implanted1LMoS_2.Thisstudyprovidesnotonlyanapproachtoquicklyprobephonondispersiontrendsof2DmaterialsawayfromΓbytheRamanscatteringofthecorrespondingNCs,butalsoareferencetocompletelyunderstandtheconfinementeffectofdifferentmodesinvariousnanomaterials.
简介:AIMToexploretheprotectiveeffectsandunderlyingmechanismsoftotalpolysaccharidesoftheSijunzidecoction(TPSJ)ontheepithelialbarriersinvitro.METHODSCaco-2cellmonolayersweretreatedwithorwithoutTPSJinthepresenceorabsenceofTNF-α,andparacellularpermeabilityandtransepithelialelectricalresistance(TEER)weremeasuredtoevaluatetheepithelialbarrierfunction.Immunofluorescenceandwesternblottingwererespectivelyusedtoevaluatethedistributionandexpressionofthetightjunctionproteinsclaudin1,claudin2,zo3,andoccludininCaco-2cells.Westernblottingwasalsousedtoevaluatethecellularexpressionofmyosinlightchain(MLC),phosphorylatedMLC(pMLC),MLCkinase(MLCK),andnuclearfactor(NF)-κBp65.RESULTSTPSJpromotedtheproliferationofCaco-2cellsandinhibitedTNF-α-inducedsecretionofpro-inflammatorycytokines.Furthermore,TPSJsignificantlyamelioratedboththereductionofTEERandtheincreasedparacellularpermeabilityobservedintumornecrosisfactor(TNF)-α-damagedCaco-2monolayers.Furthermore,TPSJremarkablyattenuatedTNF-α-inducedmorphologicalchanges,downregulatedtheexpressionofclaudin1,claudin2,zo3,andoccludin,andmarkedlysuppressedTNF-α-mediatedupregulationofp-MLCandMLCKexpression.Finally,TPSJinhibitedtheactivationandexpressionofNF-κBp65.CONCLUSIONOurresultsdemonstratethatTPSJalleviatestheTNF-α-inducedimpairmentoftheintestinalepithelialcellbarrierfunctionbysuppressingNF-κBp65-mediatedphosphorylationofMLCKandMLC.
