简介:Theclosed-diedcoldforgingtechnologyofthebevelgearsusedinJadacarwasinvestigated.Withtheanalysisofthestrainfieldandvelocityfieldoftheplasticdeformationandtheenduredforcesofthedies,thefillingrulesforthemetalwereanalyzedbytheelastic-plasticfiniteelementmethod(FEM).Theresultsshowthatthereisagreatdifferenceamongclosed-diecoldforging,extrusionandforging,asfarasthemetalflowingisconcerned.Theouteraddendumcannotbefilledcompletelyintheclosed-diecoldforgingofthebevelgears,andtheroundanglewillbeformed.Butitdoesnotinfluencetheapplicationofthebevelgears.Atthebeginning,therigidareaisformedinthecavityofthelowerdie.Andthenitwillmoveupwardstosupplythemetalforthegearfilling.Fortheclosed-diecoldforgingofthebevelgears,theforceactingontheupperdieandthelowerdieissignificantlydifferent.
