简介：In1970,duringtheexcavationsintheareaoftheGreatTempleofBoghazkǒy(theLowerCity)acuneiformtabletwasfoundthatatonceattractedtheattentionofHittitologists.Thistablet(Bo70/10,KBoXXII2)istheOldHittiteoriginal,writtenintheoldductus,ofKBoIII38(=2BoTU13).Thelatter,knownfromtheautographofM.H.Figulla(1918),isaNewHittitecopywithaverycharacteristicductusandapreferenceforAkkadianformswheretheOldHittiteversionusesHittitewordsor,moreseldom,Sumerograms.Thetext,knownasTheLegendabouttheQueenofKanisandtheCityofZalpa,waspublishedintransliterationandwithacommentarybyH.Otten(1973).
