简介:Theworkpresentsademandsideresponse(DSR)model,whichassistselectricityconsumerstoproactivelymitigatepeakdemandonelectricalnetworksinEasternandSouthernAustralia.Alow-costtechnicalarrangement,whichismadeofInternetrelay,arouter,solidstateswitches,andthesuitablesoftware,isusedtocontrolelectricitydemandatuser’spremises.Themodelallowsshiftingloadsfrompeaktooff-peakperiodsinordertoreducepeaks,whichhelpstomoderatethenationalelectricaldemand.Themodelcanbeconcurrentlyusedtoaccommodatetheutilizationofrenewableenergysourcesandtheintroductionofelectricvehicles.Theresultspresentpossiblesavingsontheelectricalenergyconsumptioninthedesignatedregions.
