简介：Inthispaper,usingHolland’smethod,theeffectofthehorizontalstructureoftropicalcyclonesontheirmotionisinvestigated.The"characteristicradius",r0characterizedasthehorizontalstructureofatropicalcyclone,inwhichmandparetheparametersofthevortex,hasbeenfoundbytheauthor.Andthenithasbeenshownthatthereisbutone"characteristicradius"foreachcyclonewithhorizontalstructure.Twodirectanalyticsolutionsfortheuniformandnon-uniformbasicflowsinsteadysituationsarepresentedwithrcResultsshowthatthechangeinthehorizontalstructureofthetropicalcycloneitselfwillhaveobviouseffectonthecyclonemotion,onbothitsdirectionandspeed.Thereforeitmustbeconsideredintheresearchonthetropicalcyclonemotion.
