  • 简介:Cu-Fecompositeoxideswerepreparedbyco-precipitationmethodandtestedforhigheralcoholsynthesisfromsyngas.TheselectivitytoC2+OHandC6+OHinalcoholdistributionwasveryhighwhilethemethaneproductfractioninhydrocarbondistributionwasratherlow,demonstratingapromisingpotentialinhigheralcoholssynthesisfromsyngas.ThedistributionofalcoholsandhydrocarbonsapproximatelyobeyedAnderson-Schulz-Florydistributionwithsimilarchaingrowthprobability,indicatingalcoholsandhydrocarbonsderivedfromthesameintermediates.TheeffectsofCu/Femolarratio,reactiontemperatureandgashourlyspacevelocity(GHSV)oncatalyticperformancewerestudiedindetail.ThesamplewithaCu/Femolarratioof10/1exhibitedthebestcatalyticperformance.Higherreactiontemperatureacceleratedwater-gas-shiftreactionandledtolowertotalalcoholsselectivity.GHSVshowedgreateffectoncatalyticperformanceandhigherGHSVincreasedthetotalalcoholselectivity,indicatingthereexistedvisibledehydrationreactionofalcoholintohydrocarbon.

  • 简介:Ourobjectivesweretodevelopanewchemicalmethodforthepolymerizationofpyrrole.CuCl2dissolvedinC2H5OHsolventisprimarilyusedfortheinitiationpolymerizationofpyrrole.ThepolymerswithdifferentyieldandconductivitywereobtainedbyraringtheinitialconcentrationofCu2+.TheinitialconcentrationsofCu2+variedfrom1.2×10-4moleto6.48×10-3moleCu2+with2.16×10-2molepyrrole.Thepolypyrroleobtainedwascharacterizedwithelementalanalyzer,XPS,IRspectroscopy,Four-pointprobeandSEM.

  • 简介:ThenanostructuredAl-basedcompositespossessthecombinationofhighyieldstrengthandgoodductility.Inthispaper,amicromechanicalmodelispresentedtosimulatethemechanicalresponseofbimodalnanostructuredAlandtheparticle-reinforcedaluminummatrixcomposite(PAMC).Theconstitutiverelationsfordifferentphasesareaddressedinthemodel,aswellasthecontributionofmicrocracks.NumericalresultsshowthatthemodelcansuccessfullydescribetheenhancedstrengthandductilityofthebimodalnanostructuredAl,andthepredictionsofthePAMCareingoodagreementwiththeexperimentaldata.ItisworthnotingthatthestrengthandductilityaresensitivetothevolumefractionofconstituentsandthedistributionofmicrocracksinbothbimodalnanostructuredAlandPAMC.Therefore,thepresenttheoreticalresultscanbeusedtooptimizethemicrostructureforimprovingthemechanicalpropertiesofnanostructuredAl-basedcomposites.

  • 简介:CuO/γ-Al2O3catalystswerepreparedbyplasmatreatmentandconventionalimpregnationmethods.Thecatalyticcombustionoftwokindsofvolatileorganiccompounds(VOCs),tolueneandbenzene,werecarriedoutovertheseCuO/γ-Al2O3catalysts.ThesurfacepropertiesofthesecatalystswerecharacterizedbyX-rayDiffraction(XRD)andScanningElectronMicroscopy(SEM).TheexperimentalresultsshowedthatincatalyticcombustiontheactivityoftheCuO/γ-Al2O3catalystpreparedviaplasmawasmuchhigherthanthatoftheCuO/γ-Al2O3catalystpreparedbyconventionalimpregnationmethod.XRDresultsshowedthatanenhanceddispersionhadbeenachievedwiththeplasmatreatment.SEMresultsindicatedthatthesizebecamemuchsmallerandthesurfacebecamemoreuniformwiththeplasmatreatment.

  • 简介:Nanosheet(S)andnanoplate(P)γ-Al2O3weresynthesizedbysimplehydrothermalmethodsandemployedassupportsforNicatalystsinCO2methanation.BothofthenanostructuredNi/Al2O3catalystsdisplayedgoodactivity.Incomparison,theNi/Al2O3-ScatalystshowedhigherCO2conversionthantheNi/Al2O3-Pcounterpartatthereactiontemperaturerangingfrom250to400°C.ThephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofthecatalystsweresystematicallycharacterizedbyN2sorption,X-raydiffraction(XRD),highresolution-transmissionelectronmicroscopy(HR-TEM),hydrogentemperature-programmedreduction(H2-TPR)andCO2temperature-programmeddesorption(CO2-TPD)techniques.Higherspecificsurfaceareaandstrongermetal-supportinteractionswereconfirmedontheNi/Al2O3-Scatalyst,whichmayleadtosmallerparticlesizeofNinanoparticles.Moreover,theNi/Al2O3-Scatalystpossessedmoreabundantweakandmediumbasicsites,whichwouldbenefittheactivationofCO2.ThesmallerNisizeandmoresuitablebasicsitesmayrationalizethesuperioractivityoftheNi/Al2O3-Scatalyst.Besides,theNi/Al2O3-Scatalystexhibitedexcellentstabilityat325°Cfor40h.
