A Simple Model for the Calculation of Plasma Impedance in Atmospheric Radio Frequency Discharges

摘要 Inatmosphericradio-frequency(rf)discharges,theplasmaparameters,suchaselectrondensity,sheaththicknessandsheathvoltage,arenoteasytobeprobedexperimentally,whiletheelectricalcharacteristics,suchasimpedance,resistanceandreactance,arerelativelyconvenienttobemeasured.Inthispaperwepresentedasimpletheoreticalmodelderivedfromthefluiddescriptionofgeneratedplasmaswithoutconsideringthecircuitmodel,toinvestigatetherelationshipbetweentheplasmaimpedanceandplasmaparameters.Byintroducingarelaxationfrequency,theplasmaimpedancecouldbepredictedbyformulaspresentedinthisstudy,andthemeanelectrondensityandsheaththicknesscanalsobecalculatedfromthemeasuredorsimulatedimpedanceandreactance,respectively.
