摘要
Objective:Toobservetheclinicaleffectof‘settingfireonthemountain’manipulationbyLuShou-yanforcervicalradiculopathyaswellastheinfraredthermographicchangesofthecervicalareabeforeandaftertreatment.Methods:Atotalof120eligiblecaseswithcervicalradiculopathywererandomlyallocatedintoanobservationgroupandacontrolgroup,60ineachgroup.CasesintheobservationgroupweretreatedwithLuShou-yan’s‘settingfireonthemountain’manipulation,whereascasesinthecontrolgroupweretreatedwithevenreinforcing-reducingmanipulation.Aftertwocoursesoftreatment,theinfraredthermographicchangesandoveralltherapeuticefficaciesinthetwogroupswerecompared.Results:Therecoveryrateandtotaleffectiverateintheobservationgroupwere68.3%and98.3%respectively,versus28.3%and81.7%inthecontrolgroup,showingstatisticaldifferencesinrecoveryrateandtotaleffectiverate(bothP<0.01).Therewasbetween-groupstatisticalsignificanceincomparingtheinfraredthermographyaftertreatment(P<0.01).Conclusion:‘Settingfireonthemountain’manipulationbyLuShou-yanisbetterthanevenreinforcing-reducingmanipulationforcervicalradiculopathy.
