摘要 LUShou-yan(1909-1969),afamousacupuncturistandacupunctureeducatorinChina.Headheredtodofamilylearning,andmergedChineseandWesternmedicine.Hisskilledanduniqueacupunctureoperationgotwonderfultherapeuticeffects.Hestudiedthereinforcing-reducingmethodsofmountain-fireburningandheaven-penetratingcoolingindepth,andcreatedthebeginningofacupuncture-moxibustionexperiments.Hecreatedthe'New-ChinaAcupunctureResearchAssociation'andacupuncturecorrespondenceclass,setupacupuncturestudyclassofLUShou-yanandZHURu-gong,cultivatedalargenumberofacupuncture-moxibustiontalentedpersons.Inaddition,hedevelopedanadult-sizedmotor-operatedglassteachingmodelcontainingmeridiansandacupoints,providedtheearliestmodernvisualaidforacupuncture-
