摘要
Theconventionaldirectpositiondetermination(DPD)algorithmprocessesallreceivedsignalsonasinglesensor.Whensensorshavelimitedcomputationalcapabilitiesorenergystorage,itisdesirabletodistributethecomputationamongothersensors.AdistributedadaptiveDPD(DADPD)algorithmbasedondiffusionframeworkisproposedforemitterlocalization.UnlikethecorrespondingcentralizedadaptiveDPD(CADPD)algorithm,allbutonesensorintheproposedalgorithmparticipateinprocessingthereceivedsignalsandestimatingthecommonemitterposition,respectively.ThecomputationalloadandenergyconsumptiononasinglesensorintheCADPDalgorithmisdistributedamongothercomputingsensorsinabalancedmanner.Exactlythesameiterativelocalizationalgorithmiscarriedoutineachcomputingsensor,respectively,andthealgorithmineachcomputingsensorexhibitsquitesimilarconvergencebehavior.ThedifferenceofthelocalizationandtrackingperformancebetweentheproposeddistributedalgorithmandthecorrespondingCADPDalgorithmisnegligiblethroughsimulationevaluations.
