摘要 Highperformancecontrolofaninteractiveprocesssuchasironandsteelplantreliesonabilitytohonorsafetyandoperationalconstraints;reducethestandarddeviationsofvariablesthatneedtobecontrolled(e.g.productquantity,quality);de-bottleneckingtheprocess;and,maximizeprofitabilityorlowercost(e.g.energysavings,improvehotmetalcontent).Theseobjectivesmaybeprioritizedinthisorder,butcanvaryandareverydifficulttoachieveoptimallythroughconventionalcontrol.Amultivariablepredictivecontrollersolution,alongwithitsextensiveinferentialsensorandbuilt-inoptimizer,providesonlineclosedloopcontrolandoptimizationformanyinteractivemetalandminingprocessestolowertheenergycost,increasethroughput,andoptimizeproductqualityandyield.Controlloopperformanceisalsoakeyfactortoimproveironandsteelplantautomationandoperationresult;HoneywellCPMoffersvender-independentproductwhichprovidesmonitoring,tuning,modelingofcontrolloopandsustainableloopperformanceanalysisandmaintenancesolutiontowardsoperationstabilityandenergysaving.
