摘要
Inthisarticle,AHPS(3-allyloxy-2-hydroxy-1-propanesulfonatesalt)wassynthesizedtouseinemulsifier-freeemulsionpolymerizationofBA/BMA/MMAsystemforhighsolidcontentlatexes.Storagestability,flowbehaviorofthelatexes,morphologyoftheobtainedlatexparticles,dynamicviscoelasticbehavior,tensilestrengthandwaterresistancepropertiesoftheresultedcopolymerswereinvestigated.TheexperimentalresultsshowthatwiththeadditionofAHPS,stabilityoftheemulsionisgreatlyimprovedthatthereappearsnoapparentprecipitationduringthepolymerizationandstorageatroomtemperaturefor6monthsandat-10℃forfourmonths.FlowofthelatexesfollowstheBinghambodylaws,diameterofthelatexparticlesisabout0.6μm,ofwhichislargerthanthatofbyconventionalemulsionpolymerization(0.12μm).Inaddition,notonlywaterresistanceofthecopolymersobtainedbyemulsifier-freeemulstionpolymerizationisgreatlyimproved,butalsotensilestrengthisobviouslyenhanced.
