摘要 Synchrotronradiationsmall-angleX-rayscattering(SAXS)andtheviscositytechniquewereusedtoinvestigatetheeffectofdissolvedCO2intolueneontheconformationofpolystyrene(PS)inthesolution.TheviscosityofPSsolutiondecreasesfasterwithincreasingantisolventCO2pressurethanthatofthesolventintheabsenceofthepolymer.theintrinsicviscosity[η]calculatedusingthewellknownHugginsequationdecreaseswithantisolventpressure.ItwasfoundthatthesecondvirialcoefficientA2andtheapparentmean-squareradiusofgyration^1/2decreaseswithpressureofantisolventCO2.AllthesephenomenacanbeattributedtotheshrinkofPSchaininthecourseofaddingthegasantisolventbecausetheintercationbetweenthepolymerandsolventbecomesweaker.Thevalues^1/2atdifferentpressuresobtainedfromSAXSdataagreereasonablywiththosecalculatedfromFlorytheoryusingtheviscositydatadeterminedinthiswork.ThisimpliesthatFlorytheory,whichhasbeenusedwidelyforthesolutionsofpolymersinliquidsolvents,isalsoapplicabletothepolymersolutionwithgasantisolvent.
