Effect of Electron Drag on Performances of Carbon Nanotubes as Flow Sensors

摘要 Experimentally,theelectrondrageffectoncarbonnanotubesurfaceinflowingliquidswasinvestigated.Itwasfoundthatelectriccurrentcouldbegeneratedinmetalliccarbonnanotubesimmersedintheliquids.CarbonnanotubesweresynthesizedonSisubstratebyhotfilamentchemicalvapordeposition.Theexperimentalresultsshowedthattheflow-inducedcurrentonthesurfaceofcarbonnanotubefilmswascloselydependedontheflowrate,concentration,propertiesandtemperatureofliquids.Theflow-inducedcurrentwasincreasedwiththeincreasingofflowrate,concentrationandtemperatureofliquids.Theobtainedresultswerediscussedindetail.
