Shear capacity of reinforced concrete columns strengthened with CFRP sheet-中国期刊网

摘要 Thispaperdiscussestheresultsoftestsontheshearcapacityofreinforcedconcretecolumnsstrengthenedwithcarbonfiberreinforcedplastic(CFRP)sheet.ThesheartransfermechanismofthespecimensreinforcedwithCFRPsheetwasstudied.ThefactorsaffectingtheshearcapacityofreinforcedconcretecolumnsstrengthenedwithCFRPsheetwereanalyzed.Severalsuggestionssuchasthenumberoflayers,widthandtensilestrengthoftheCFRPsheetareproposedforthisnewstrengtheningtechnique.Finally,asimpleandpracticaldesignmethodispresentedinthepaper.Thecalculatedresultsofthesuggestedmethodareshowntobeingoodagreementwiththetestresults.ThesuggesteddesignmethodcanbeusedinevaluatingtheshearcapacityofreinforcedconcretecolumnsstrengthenedwithCFRPsheet.
