摘要
Anarchitectureintroducingwirelessrelayingtechnologiesintothecellularinfrastructurehasemergedasanapproachtoenlargethecoverageareaandenhancesystemcapacity.Inthispaper,atwo-hopcellularsystemincorporatedwiththefixedRelayingStation(RS)isstudied,wherebesidestheUniformPowerAllocation(UPA),theOptimalPowerAllocation(OPA)betweentheBaseStation(BS)andRSisalsoadoptedconsideringresourceutilization.Tomaximizetheperformancegainsandreducetheoverhead,itisnecessarytoprovideaneffectiveRSselectionalgorithmandcombineitwithotherresourcemanagementstrategies.SotwokindsofRSselectioncriteriabaseduponSignaltoInterferenceRatio(SIR)andPathLoss(PL),areevolvedintofourJointRSSelectionandPowerAllocation(JRSPA)algorithms,whicharebasedonSIRwithOPA(SIR-OPA),SIRwithUPA(SIR-UPA),PLwithOPA(PL-OPA)andPLwithUPA(PL-UPA).Thesimulationresultsshowthatamongthesefouralgorithms,theSIR-OPAschemeprovidesthebestcapacityperformance,buttakingtheoverheadintoaccount,thePL-OPAschemeisabetterchoicetoreducethecomplexityandtradeoffthesystemperformancewithsignalingload.
