摘要
Cooperativediversityisanewtechnologytoimprovebiterrorrate(BER)performanceinwirelesscommunications.AnewpowerallocationalgorithmtoimproveBERperformanceincellularuplinkhasbeenproposedinthispaper.Someexistingpowerallocationschemeswereproposedforthepurposeofmaximizingthechannelcapacityorminimizingtheoutageprobability.Differentfromtheseschemes,theproposedalgorithmaimsatminimizingtheBERofthesystemsundertheconstraintoftotaltransmissionpower.Besidesthischaracteristic,theproposedalgorithmcanrealizealowcomplexityreal-timepowerallocationaccordingtothefluctuationofchannels.SimulationresultsshowthattheproposedalgorithmcandecreasetheBERperformanceofthesystemseffectively.
