Optically noninvasive measurement of the light transport properties of human meridians

摘要 Toconfirmtheexistenceandpropertiesofhumanmeridians,theopticaltransportpropertiesalongthepericardiummeridianandtissuesaroundthepericardiummeridianarestudiednoninvasivelyontwentyhealthyvolunteersinvivoandthencomparedwitheachother.Ourstudyshowsthatthelightpropagatingalongthemeridianandnon-meridiandirectionsbothconformtotheBeer’sexponentialattenuationlaw.However,statisticalanalysisoftheresultssuggeststhattheopticaltransportpropertiesofhumanmeridiandifferfromthoseofthesurroundingtissuesoveralowmodulatedfrequencyrange(P<0.01),andlightattenuationalongthepericardiummeridianissignificantlylessthanthatalongthenon-meridiandirection.Thesefindingsnotonlyindicatetheexistenceofacupuncturemeridianfromthepointofviewofbiomedicaloptics,butalsoshednewlightonanapproachtoinvestigationofhumanmeridians.更多还原
