摘要
Thisarticlearguesthat'HarmoniousGlobalization'offersaplatformforharmonizingthepositiveandnegativeaspectsofthecurrentU.S.-ledeconomicglobalizationthatreflectstheobjectivelawsofhumandevelopment.Thearticleattemptstochartthepathaheadfortheworldeconomyinthecontextofeconomicglobalization,pervasivepoverty/inequality,theresultantworldwidepoliticalawakening,thedegradationofglobalecosystems,andthecurrentturmoilinfinancialinstitutions.Theglobalchallengeaheadwillbethree-fold:tobringtheexcluded1/3oftheworld'spopulationintotheopentradesystem;toencourageemergingmarketslikeChinaandIndiatocarryonwithopenpoliciesandtopersuadethedevelopedWesternnationstoadheretoanopentradesystemandresistthetemptationsoftradeprotectionism.Freemarketaccessshouldbeofferedtothosemarginalizedcountries,theso-called'failedorfailingstates'thathavebeenexcludedfromandangeredbytheglobalizationprocess.Thegrowthinprosperityofthesenationswillopenupavastpotentialmarketfortheworld.
