摘要 Twocarriersofnew-typecholeracausedbyVibratocholeraO139werefoundfromtheworshipersinHongqilapuportofXinjiangUygurAutonomousRegioninJune1994.Theisolateswerecultureandidentificated.TheresultsdemonstratedthattwoisolateswerethenewstereotypeofⅤ.choleraO139.ThesuccessfulsurveillanceforcholeraandthefindingofcarriersofⅤ.choleraO139byHealthQuarantineorganizationinportpreventedeffectivelythewidespreadofⅤ.choleraO139.Whileperformingthesurveillanceforcholerabyeachport,wemustpayattentiontothesurveillanceofnew-typecholeracausedbyⅤ.choleraO139.
