Theinteractionbetweenwaveandhorizontalandverticalplatesisinvestigatedbytheboundaryelementmethod,andtherelationsofwaveexcitingforcewithplatethickness,submergenceandlengthareobtained.Itisfoundthat:1)Theefficientwaveexcitingforceexistswhileplatesubmergenceislessthan0.5m,andtheplateisverythinwithorderO(0.005m).2)Themaximumheavewaveexcitingforceexists,anditisthemainfactorforsurfaceandsubmergedhorizontalplatewhiletherollforcecanbeignored.3)Themaximumswaywaveexcitingforceexists,itisthemainfactorforsurfaceorsubmergedverticalplate,andtherollforceisabout20timesofhorizontalplate.
