Effectsofinformationasymmetryoncooperationintheprisoners’dilemmagameareinvestigated.TheamplitudeAisintroducedtodescribethedegreeofinformationasymmetry.ItisfoundthatthereexistsanoptimalvalueofamplitudeAoptatwhichthefractionofcooperationreachesitsmaximalvalue.Thereasonliesinthatcooperatorsonthetwo-dimensionalgridformlargeclustersatAopt.Inaddition,thetheoreticalanalysisintermsofthemeanfieldtheoryisusedtounderstandthiskindofphenomenon.Itisconfirmedthattheinformationasymmetryplaysanimportantroleinthedynamicsofthedilemmagamesofspatialprisoners.
