Thisstudywasonsuperiorityofthenon-negativematrixfactorization（NMF）algorithmforapplicationofinformationextractedwithaerialimages.First,NMFwasusedforaerialimageinformationextraction,andthenthisdatawascomparedwithaprincipalcomponentanalysis（PCA）inwhichr（thenumberofrowsorcolumnsofbasicmatrix）andEignum（thenumberofeigenvalues）weregivendifferentvalues.ExperimentalresultsshowedthattheruntimeofNMFwithr=20or50waslessthanthatofPCAwithanEignum=20or50.Also,therecognitionrateofNMFwithr=50washigherthanthatofanEignum=50.Theexperimentshowedthatnonnegativematrixfactorizationhadadvantagesofashorttimeperiodwithahighrecognitionrate.
