Numericalsimulationforfluidflowoveranattachedrigidbodywithadeformableringbubbleisanalyzedbasedonthevelocitypotentialtheorytogetherwiththeboundaryelementmethod(BEM).Theanalysisisfocusedontheaxisymmetriccase.Thebubblesurfaceistreatedasawelldefinedair-liquidinterfaceandistrackedbyamixedEulerian-Lagrangianmethod;Thepointsofintersectionbetweenthebubbleandbodyaretreated,speciallyinthenumericalprocedure.Theauxiliaryfunctionmethodisadoptedtocalculatethepressureonthebodysurfaceandintheflowfield.Theconvergencestudyisundertakentoassessthedevelopednumericalmethodandthecomputationcode.Somecasestudiesareundertakeninwhichtheinteractionsbetweenthebubble/bodyandtheincomingflowfieldaresimulated.Theeffectsofvariousphysicalparametersontheinteractionsareinvestigated.
