TheGreen’sfunctionisusedtosolvethescatteringfarfieldsolutionofSH-wavebyamov-ablerigidcylindricalinterfaceinclusioninalinearelasticbody.First,asuitableGreen’sfunctionisdevel-oped,whichisthefundamentaldisplacementsolutionofanelastichalfspacewithamovablerigidhalf-cylin-dricalinclusionimpactedbyout-of-planeharmoniclinesourceloadedatanypointofitshorizontalsurface.ByusingtheGreen’sfunction,aseriesofFredholmintegralequationsofthefirstkindwhichdeterminethescatteringfarfieldcanbesetup.Thenthepapergivestheexpressionsonthefarfieldincludingthedisplace-mentmodeofscatteringwaveandthesolutionofscatteringcross-section.Finally,someexamplesandnu-mericalresultsarediscussedtoanalyzetheinfluenceofthecombinationofdifferentmediaparametersontheansweroffarfield.
