Foridentifyingthetire/roadfrictioncoefficientaccuratelyinreal-timetomeettheneedsofautomobileelectroniccontrolsystemandthenimprovingtheactivesafetyperformanceofautomobile,theroadrecognitionmethodbasedonfuzzycontrolalgorithmwasstudiedinthispaper.Adopta7-DOFvehicledynamicmodel,wheelslipratioλandlongitudinalforcesFxastheinputoffuzzycontrollerwithfuzzyruleswasproposed.Theoutputistheweightcoefficientofμ-λfunctionalexpressionwhichisrelatedtoc1,c2andc3proposedbyBurckhardtetc.Byasimulationexperimentofautomobilebrakeontheconditionofdrivingstraightorveeringonasingleroadanddockingpavement,tosomeextent,indicatesthatthismethodisabletoguaranteethereal-timeandaccuracyoftheroadidentification.
