Onehundredandseventeenacutecerebralinfarctionpatientswererandomlypid-edintotwogroups:Scalpacupuncturegroup(GroupA)andpuremedicationgroup(GroupB).Thefunctionofthenervoussystem,brainelectricalactivitymappingandsomatosensoryevokedpotentialswereobservedbeforeandafterthetreatment.Itwasfoundthattheindexesinthetwogroupschangedsignificantly(P<0.05).ThecurativeeffectsinGroupAwerebetterthanthatinGroupB(P<0.001).Thecurativeeffectsofscalpacupunctureonacutecerebralinfarctionwereobjectivelyconfirmedbymeansofelectrophysiologicalstudies.
