Fromtheperspectiveofcompressedsensing(CS)theory,thechannelestimationprobleminlarge-scalemultipleinputmultipleoutput(MIMO)-orthogonalfrequencypisionmultiplexing(OFDM)systemisinvestigated.Accordingtothetheory,thesmallermutualcoherencethereconstructionmatrixhas,thehighersuccessprobabilitytheestimationcanobtain.Aimingtodesignapilotthatcanmakethesystemreconstructionmatrixhavingthesmallestmutualcoherence,thispaperproposesalowcomplexityjointalgorithmandobtainsakindofnon-orthogonalpilotpattern.Simulationresultsshowthatcomparedwiththeconventionalorthogonalpilotpattern,applyingtheproposedpatternintheCSchannelestimationcanobtainthebetternormalizedmeansquareerrorperformance.Moreover,thebiterrorrateperformanceofthelarge-scaleMIMO-OFDMsystemisalsoimproved.
