A new spatial angle assembly method of the ICF target

Thedesignsofinertialconfinementfusion(ICF)targets,whichfieldonShenGuangIII,arebecomingmorecomplexandmorestringentintermsofassemblyprecision.Akeyspecificationofthesetargetsisthespatialanglealignmentaccuracy.Tomeettheseneeds,wepresentanewspatialangleassemblymethod,usingtargetpart's3Dmodel-baseddualorthogonalcameravision,whichisbettersuitedfortheflexibleautomationoftargetassemblyprocesses.Thetwo-handsstructuremicromanipulatesystemanddualorthogonalstructurevisualfeedbacksystemwereinvestigatedbyconsideringthekinematics,spatialanglemeasuring,andmotioncontrolinanintegratedway.Inthispaper,wediscussthemeasurementaccuracyofspatialangleassemblymethod,whichcomparedthereal-timeimageacquisitionwiththeredrawing2Dprojection.Theresultshowsthattheassemblymethodproposedisveryeffectiveandmeetstherequirementsofangleassemblyaccuracy,whichislessthan1°.Also,thisworkisexpectedtocontributegreatlytotheadvancementofothertargetmicroassemblyequipments.
