The21stcentury'MaritimeSilkRoad'strategyisasignificantpartofthebeltandroadinitiativesofChina.Thecognitionandinvestigationofoceanenvironmentisessentialandnecessaryintheseregionswhichwillprovidescientificreferenceformanyfieldssuchasnavigation,oceanengineering,anddisasterpreventandreduction.Ahigh-resolutioncross-calibratedmulti-platformwindproductisusedtoanalyzegalesovertheMaritimeSilkRoad.Theyearlymeanspeedandspacedistributionofgale,andthefrequenciesandtrendsofgaleandextremewindspeedareanalyzed.TheresultsshowthatrelativelyhighpoolsofgalearemainlylocatedinthewatersoftheArabianSea,theSomaliSea,Indo-ChinaPeninsulaseaarea,andBayofBengalinthesummer.ThegalefrequencyoftheSomaliSeaismorethan90%.Overall,thegaledaysincreaseyearbyyearinthemajorityoftheSouthChinaSeaandthenorthernIndianOcean,especiallyintheautumnandthewinter.
