Becomingtheworld’slargestemitterofcarbonmakesChinatheobjectofcriticism;however,peoplemayignorethefactthatwhenChinaexportslow-carbonproducts,thecarbonemissionshavebeenleftinthemeanwhile,formingtheso-called"embodiedcarbon".Usingtheinput-outputmodel,thispaperanalyzesthecarbonemissionintensityandamountofembodiedcarbonofvarioussectorsinChina’sexporttradein2002and2007,andfiltersouthighcarbonemissionsectors.Inaddition,thispaperalsopointsouttheproblemofcarbonemissions’internationaltransferfromdevelopedcountriestoChinathroughtheanalysisofnationalandregionalflowofexportcarbonemissionsandchangingoftheproportionofemissionsforexportsrelativetototalemissions,andexplainsthereasonthatcausedcarbontransfertoChinabyusingthetreadmillofproductiontheory.Basedonthat,thispaperproposessomemeasuresforcarbonreductioninChinafromtheforeigntradeperspective.
