Aself-consistenthybridMonteCarloFluidmodelispresentedtodescribethenitrogendcglowdischarge.ThemovementoffastelectronsissimulatedbytheMonteCarlomethodwhilethedynamicsofslowelectronsandionsisbyfluidequations.Thespatialfeaturesofthechargedspeciesandthecorrespondingelectricfieldthroughoutthedischargehavebeencalculated,whichincludethecreationratesofionsandslowelectrons,densitiesofthechargedspecies,theelectricfieldandthepotentialdistribution.Thesecloselyrelatedresultscangiveaselfconsistentexplanationofthedischargecharacteristicsthroughoutthespaceofnitrogendcglowdischarge.Thecalculatediondensityisalsocomparedwiththecorrespondingexperimentalresult.
