Theholeinjection,theradiativerecombinationandthedevicelumi-nescentefficienciesofamorphoussiliconcarbidethinfilmp-I-njunctionlightemit-tingdiodesarequantitativelycalculated,andtheeffectofthecarrier(especiallythehole)injectionandrecombinationprocessesonthedeviceluminescentcharacteris-ticsarerevealed.Withoutconsideringthedevicejunctiontemperature,itisroundthatthedeviceluminescentefficiencymainlydependsontheholeinjectionefficiencyatlowfieldandtheholeradiativerecombinationefficiencyathighfieldrespective-ly.Thetheoreticalanalysesareinwellagreementwiththeexperimentalresults.
